Beirut is one of my favorite bands. Zach Condon, the musical genius behind the band, masters the sound of eastern Europe with his wide array of instruments and beautiful composition. Beirut's new album The Flying Club Cup releases October 9th. The album keeps the glory of their previous album (Gulag Orkestar) released last year, and continues to pave their road down a new path by mixing more exciting styles. The album also features a treat, a song featuring Owen Pallet (Final Fantasy), a violinist that will knock you off your feet.
